What a week! Since last weekend, I was sick with a cold, but still had to go out of town for work. Here’s where I was, what I read, watched, bought and wrote about this week.
travels+ I spent the week in Chicago and since I had a cold … and it was cold, snowy and rainy, I didn’t do much more than take meds, work, read and sleep. Still enjoyed the epic views from the 76th floor and I made it home Thursday night, just in time to avoid a snow storm.
read+ I’m in the middle of The Running Grave, Robert Galbraith (audiobook), which is the 7th book in the Cormoran Strike series. It’s 960 pages (34 hours audio) so I’ll be on this for a while, but I’m loving it and listening every chance I get.
watched+ I finished the last season (4) of Succession. This was on so many “best tv shows of the year” lists, but I don’t get the hype. The last season just didn’t do it for me.
wrote+ 24×24 in 2024 … 24 things I want to do 24 times in 2024.
bought+ My extended family loves games, and right before they came for Christmas I bought this automatic card shuffler. It works flawlessly so far.
I’m looking forward to relaxing this weekend, taking down Christmas decor and running in my first races of the year – a 5K and a 10K. Cheers.
